This is not a big problem. Just alittle annoying. Whenever someone checks the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box after posting in forums, this error message comes up to anyone reply on the thread.

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 535 proxy 500 PSMTP Unimplemented command: AUTH LOGIN - psmtp

DEBUG MODE

Line : 40
File : C:\Network\Websites\united-clansonline\includes\smtp.php

Line 40 of smtp.php reads:
message_die(GENERAL_ERROR, "Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: $server_response", "", __LINE__, __FILE__);

In your forums configuration-> Email Settings. Do you have use SMTP enabled?
Unless you have to use SMTP it can be left at the default value of No.

I do need to use SMTP. I figured out, the problem was incorrect syntax to the smtp server. Thank you for your help sixone. You pointed me in the right direction.
