I am unsure of where to post this, so have chosen the version of Nuke I am using as the base home for it. If I am in the wrong area, moderators, please move this thread.
Yesterday I banned a new user at my site, both from my Cpanel and in forum admin. I also blocked the address in forum admin. (This person is stalking one of my moderators). He has somehow managed to get back on site. Last night I had five requests for his password--and the membership had been deleted, so naturally he did not receive it. Each request was from the very IP I had banned, which resolves to the Optus Internet in Australia. I have gone back this morning and done all of this again, and banned the IP with a wild card.
What I can not figure out is how he got past the block not only from the forum, but from CPanel as well. I've gona as far as blocking the IP that the host resolves to.
Any insight on how this guy continues to get in would be appreciated.
(Man, if it ain't one thing, it's another)
