Isn't there a module that you can add to your site that will only let certain people download from a certain location? I know I saw one somewhere before. Or could one be made? I want family members to be able to download stuff.....that noone else can access. Everyone else uses regular downloads section. It works from thier nick...or something like that. Can that be done or has it been done? |

You can simply do this with your password protect directories in your cpanel  |

you do not need cpanel just know how to use .htaccess and .htpaswd |

That also assumes you have Apache. Another option would be to use NSN Groups and NSN Group Downloads. You add your family (or whomever you wish to have access) to a group, then specify that the downloads are available only to group members. |
