Hey i have a problem with my download section on my homepage!!

I opload the files i whant others to download from my ftp, to the folder

modules/downloads/*file*

then i go to my admin page and the download manager, add the file so it fitt the file name in the folder where they are but get an http 404 no matther what i do normal users can' get the files not eaven me.

(the downloads dosent work how come?

It isn't just the download that you have a problem with. Your file system isn't showing the downloads folder existing. It returns a 404 which means, of course, it will never locate any files. Either the folder name is incorrect, or the case of the name is incorrect, or the folder does not have permissions set to 755.

well i found the problem my self, it seems that phpnuke 7.4 can't find the files when its put i folders, but when i put em in the root, it works don't know why but it does.

i tryede it because you said >>the folder Does not exists

1. my eng is not that great im from denmark.

what i mean, is you said the folder dit not exists, ok then what!!!

i found out that it only works when i put it in root folder!!!

Are you sure your folder isn't name Downloads, instead of downloads? Remember that *nix is CaseSensitive Wink

ahh yer maybee you are right, i haven't tryed that yet, i will try it out.

i have a question though, im running the site whit nuke 7,4, and need something more on it, eks. pictures of the stuff pepole can download, but thats not posibal in standart phpnuke, what sort of block do i need? avanceddownload!!?
