Proof of our mortality

I received a call just minutes ago from my sister letting me know that my grandfather had passed away, i guess his time had come as it will for all of us, ironic thing is even at his age his mind was clearer than mine, i would like to request from all a prayer for the eternal rest of his soul and if possible for my health as well, i am on the brink of a pneumonia because of not being careful enough knowing i had a very bad cold, i don't even know how i will make it to the capitol in my condition or if i will be able to. Either way i am taking this chance to let people know of what's going on in case i have to be absent for some time.

Rest in peace grandpa, you will not be forgotten.

Lord, please be with Chat and his family during this time of bereavement and loss. We especially ask that you give him the strength and health that he needs to be able to travel to the funeral, if it be Thy will. During these next few days, may You be glorified as Your Word is preached and Your presence is felt. May Your Grace and Mercy be especially abundant to all those that are present. Even though this is an occasion of sadness and loss, may the power of our Risen Savior be known to all those present. In Jesus Name we ask, Amen.

Chat, as always my friend, you continue to be in our prayers. I know that you want to be there, but please don't endanger your health any more.
