When I view my site in FF: no problems, when I try to open my site in IE: IE crashes Evil or Very Mad
I've asked to some people to look at my site with IE and some of them are having no problems (except the header isn't correct in IE), but some of them are having the same problem like me.
The site doesn't have to be 100% W3C compliant, but I don't want that IE crashes due to it and I also want to fix the header (which is 100% W3C compliant) so you can see it without it is screwed up in IE.

Don't look at my footer, it isn't finished yet Mr. Green

The site is a clean PHP-Nuke Platinum 7.6.0 installation with the sentinel install pack and the pnp 7.6.0 patch pack.

I can see your site in both w/o any problem other than IE takes longer to render. that could be the problem. Your site loads very slow in both browsers and it could be that IE is timing out before the server can send everything.

Now I've changed all jpg images to png images and now the site is loading much faster Cool
But IE is still crashing Sad

I've mentioned that people who are having sp2, their IE doesn't crash.
I'm using still sp1 (sp2 slow your computer) and the others who are using it, their IE also crashes.
Could this be the cause or is this just chance?

If this is the cause, how can I make my site sp1 compliant?

I have a system with SP1 on it and I used it to call up your site which loaded without a problem in either version of XP's SP's.

I should note however, that you have a large number of issues at your domain including calling for <body> twice.

Internet Explorer is generally a lot more tolerant to W3C Presentation Compliance problems than Gecko browsers (like Firefox, Mozilla, etc...), so I would say the problem in your case is probably your particular installation of Internet Explorer.

The bitch with XP is once Internet Explorer gets corrupted, it is almost impossible to get it fixed due to how Microslop integrates it with the OS. They don't need to no... but they did it that way so they can claim it to be integral in court. In other words, a politial and legal integration instead of a technical one.

I would suggest in your case upgrading to SP2 in the hopes that doing so would drag your browser along, but if not, you might end up doing what a lot of people do... re-install XP to get a nice clean build.

I would finally mention that you should really work on that theme. I don't think I've ever seen that many CSS compliance problems in any theme I've ever looked at. As for HTML Compliance errors, there are quite a few, but I have seen worse.

Wish I could be of more help.

I've made a new, clean Windows XP installation, but even then my site won't load Evil or Very Mad

No, but I've just figured out what the cause is: the css file.
When I removed it, the site works in ie Smile

But the W3C CSS validator isn't giving a lot of information about how you can fix all the errors Confused

I have fixed it now.
The site isn't 100% W3C compliant, but when it works good, I'm happy Mr. Green

But does someone know how I can fix my header? In FF it's displayed good, but in IE there's a black piece underneath it Evil or Very Mad

Ok i think i found it..

in your header look for this this part.
note: i only took such a big part so you could easely recoqnise it.
So when you see it,select it and then replace with the below i posted.
i tried it,tested it and its solved...

Code:

<TABLE style="HEIGHT: 152px" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%"
align=center background=themes/SHaGGieSTHeMe/images/hmm.png border=0>
  <TBODY>
  <TR>
    <TD vAlign=top width=128 height=152 rowSpan=2><IMG height=152 alt=""
      src="themes/SHaGGieSTHeMe/images/hl.png" width=128></TD>
    <TD width="100%" height=111>
      <P align=center><IMG height=111 alt="" src="themes/SHaGGieSTHeMe/images/hm.png"
      width=602></P></TD>
    <TD vAlign=top width=128 height=152 rowSpan=2><IMG height=152 alt=""
      src="themes/SHaGGieSTHeMe/images/hr.png" width=128></TD></TR>
  <TR>
    <TD width="100%" height=41>
