notification email private messages

Our private messages doesn t work.I cant remember that am ever received any email about new private messages has arrived from my own site. Also in the your account - your info german language file I´m missing the word email.

But anyway should work because the settings are correct.

Ok, I know there are two files for this function:
modules/Private_Messages/index.php and
modules/Forums/language/lang_german/email/privmsg_notify.tpl

But I would like to know what other files are also responsible for this function ?
What about the viewtopic.php, your account ?

Seems that nobody knows an answer indeed it´s a special problem and I quess there is no solution. I found several errors in the forums administration for the admin styles function but I´m glad that all other mails are working.

didnt you touched that file not long ago?

Serving on local host, Windows box I and others have found some mail smtp servers will do this..eg mail enable
Agro and postcast dont
I do not know why.

Well i renamed the admin_styles again, but thats not the reason for this issue. It could also be something with the viewtopic.php or any other files. I tried it with two different viewtopic versions, but its not working. My private messages are working well of course without mail function. I would pay for the solution, but I´quess this problem can´t be solved in my forums versions.
