WWWdaemon apache emails - solved

I have a strange email problem.
The notfication emails "New private messages has arrived" are all from wwwrun (WWWdaemon apache) instead of the forums administration email e.g.

Only registered users can see links on this board!
Get registered or login to the forums!

I m not using SMTP. I tried another email address but the result was the same.I´m really frustated about this and I have a similar problem but with my wordpress blog.
Of course there aren´t any other problems with the mail function in my nuke version 6.5. I quess that I only have to change something in the php mail function. How do I do this ?

Since the emails from PM work.

edit: I solved this problem today in my blog through upgrade to wordpress/1.5.2. So, I think this email issue can only be solved through upgrade.

This problem still exists after forums upgrade to 2.0.17 My hoster said it depends on the script.Upgrade nuke 6.5 isn´t interesting for me. However, if someone knows a solution, please let me know how I can fix my private messages w w w.run problem.

This problem is solved.Don´t know why I not tried it before.I´m using now the emailer.php from Nuke 6.9 in Nuke 6.5.
