First, I am not using the very latest version of Sentinel so my apologies if this post is a moot one.
Secondly, I was inspired to post this after recent problems with harvesters and just plain naughty bots ignoring robots.txt
I no sooner got rid of a ton of Russian IP's than China decided to have a go. Got rid of them and now Turkey is having a go LOL
OK, to the point..........
I use IP tracker module to keep an 'at-a-glance' eye on who is currently viiting my site and use the IP listed to then ban ones I dont want via Sentinels 'Ban IP' function.
So far so good..........
Te problem comes when you have added several IP's and then think 'stuff it, lets ban the whole range(or country)' - if you then try to ban a range through the 'Ban IP Range' and one or more single IP's are already banned, Sentinel generates an appropriate error informing you of this fact..... and stops dead in its tracks.
The feature request therefore would be;
When using the ban IP range function and a single (or multiple) IP's are already listed, it should remove these to enable the range banning to continue with it needed work - perhaps with appropriate messages/options.
