Probably not without a few tweaks. It's on my 'list' of things to update |

Hi Raven,
Great Site.
I am really interested in your news reordering mod. Are you any closer to getting this ready for Nuke 7 what is the estimated completetion date? Is it also possible to have a random setting too on a category by category basis? Anyway...let me know.
Thanks again.

Are you actually going to do this or not.
I do not mind making a contribution.
Otherwise I will need to pay someone to do it as I have a real requirement.
Saying I do not have a date for this is worse than being ignored by the way
You could say...I anticipate Next week, next month, next year, next of never. Any of those are preferable to "I do not have a date for this" END OF CHAT!

Simon | In this original post, you asked "...what is the estimated completetion date" to which I replied "I do not have a date for this". This answer is perfectly reasonable, accurate, and forthright to your question. If you find being ignored is preferable to an honest answer, that is, of course, your choice .
Yes, I plan on doing it but it has not been a priority as security issues and prevention as well as other projects have priority over this. Donations are always welcomed but they do not directly influence my priorities. However, if you would like to hire me to do this, I will make it a priority and provide you an estimate. |

You know what I mean
Anyway...please provide me with a price to make this a priority as I wish to employ this GREAT mod at logomob.com which is based on Nuke 7. I need it to work for all my news sections but I would want to choose not to have it if neccesary (switch on or off per category). I would like to be able to choose the order or to have random order. Let me have your price as I have real American Dollars waiting for you.

I had someone else working on this and I believe they have it modified but not the category part. Do you want it w/o the category part? |

Does that mean it is either on or off? Is it random or fixed? If not per category ...I presume it is all categories or none at all. Is this assumption correct.
What would it cost to get it perfect. Just as I described before?
Thanks

It works exactly like the 6.9. It simply allows you to prioritize the News items. That's all we've had time to do thus far. |

I applied the fix to PHPNuke 7.6 - it does not work -after html/admin.php is uploaded the site goes blank. I think this is because in 7.6 html/admin.php file is extensively modified. It will be really good if somebody make this tweak to work with 7.6. |

I have heard from some that it does and from others that it does not. So, the answer thus far is "I don't know". I am still trying to find time to look at this. I am sorry that I haven't gotten to it. So much time and so little to do - I mean, so much to do and so little time |

Thanks Raven. Take your time, we are dependent on you for so many things. I think this will be a very good feature. |

p.p.s you need to make the phpnuke 3.1 security changes to the admin.php to make it 100% perfect. they came out after it was finished |
