My Dad is in hospital, and is just being made comfortable, he has dementia and his body has been failing him for some years now.
I have the support of my own family and my sisters, but I just feel so alone and hopeless and empty. |

i know how that feels freeby,i was almost in same situation.
my mom has a weird muscle sickness (we call it reuma).
allthough i have more brothers i was the only one visited her in the hospital and saw her loosing weight, believe me...i cant describe how it feels.
be happy that you have your family,i did to but they werent there at the time.
seeing this happening with your father is hartbreaking ,i know.
try to enjoy your father as much as you can,if he recognises you or not. |

What a tremendous blessing that was. So sorry to hear of your loss. I know that you will miss him, as I still miss my Dad from time-to-time, but over time that loss will turn into just wonderful memories that you can hold dear to your heart. |
