Hi!

I'm looking a good Review module for PHPNuke (which is used mainly for the computer program reviews). Do you know any good modules?

There are several addon reviews modules, but I make no claim as to which is best.

Neither appears to be up-to-date, though, and there may be others that work as well.

Im looking for a good reviews mod too. I just downloaded mReviews and went to their demo page, have not installed it yet. The only thing i have noticed that is not on mReviews, is an average of the rankings. I will install tonight to make sure that it does not have it. Any one know how to take the ranks from the database and create an average? or would the ranking needs their one table?

thanks,

j

not so sure how secure it is. I didnt relize really what the image was implying. hmmm?!

edit: after looking over posts in their forum. I think ill uninstall and pass on this one, till something else comes out.

Any advice? suggestions? anything?

What I would like to see in one is, categories and average rank per topic.

that acutally looks the same. Although I have not installed it yet. Ill do that later this morning. Some reason it doesnt seem safe.

Im looking for something, with categories. People can select topics, write their review for that topic and rank it. All ranks will be averaged and displayed next to topics name. All comments and Reviews will be displayed below. er omething like like that. Ya know some type of organization.

Also would have top 10 ranks and recent reviews.

how much would you guys estimate, it would cost for to have this done?

edit: being the big dumby I am. I know nuke has a reveiws module like this. Would it be possible to edit it and create the average for rank? Also can the Review's creator be able to set their rank to 0?

jjh221, anything is possible, but it would take custom development. Unfortunately, I do not know of anything that will do what you guys want.

Ah, one of the above apparently has a huge security hole. I tried both, but removed them later after hearing about the security holes. This was a while back though so maybe these newer versions are good.

From memory, My Reviews has categories which is nice if you do lots of reviews.

I need to get back in touch with aikon and ask him if he will fix the rating system. I told him I needed the admin or the creator to be able to make the review with a rank of 0. I was unclear with him, that I needed the 0 to not count in the score calculation.
