Ravenscripts is NOT worth it! (Just Kidding!)

LOL I am not going to complain, I just wanted everyone to read this so calm down!
I have tried 3 different phpnuke distro's.
I will not mention it was the original PHPnuke or phpnuke Max as I might get in trouble.
I had an issue converting to Ravennuke so ran it locally.
Finally I said "Screw this". and completely went to Ravens.
things I have noticed.
1. Tighter scripts
2. Less rogue code, OK I am saying less as I know theres some somewhere, still looking.
3. Easier install of other blocks and modules.
4. Easier on CPU and SQL
5. Easier to modify files as the script is tight and tidy.
6. Ravenscripts admins answer EVERYTHING within 4 hours.
7. No hang time.

This month when I get my check I am going to Donate, everyone else should do the same, there awesome!
I am posting this as they answered all my questions while using other Distros, I cant find a questionon theres!

kgw, I think you titled this to attract attention knowing that it would catch people's eye? At least I hope so Smile

For the record, I have been patching and updating a friends nuke site for some time (V6.9 through to 7.5). She was quite happy with a page load time of several seconds but decided to take the bull by the horns when RN 2.02.02 was released.
Installation was painless. I re-added a few forum hacks she had, a couple of modules she had and reworked her 'light' and 'dark' theme using fisubice as my template (in essence I renamed the fisubice theme twice and adjusted the style/CSS and images).
The site now runs with a page load time of under 0.50 seconds when it is busy and the difference has been so noticable, her members are commenting on the speed!!
