this really bothers me to see webmaster downgrade a another webmasters site just because he doesn't like the way it's being run in my opinion that is the reason we have different web sites because we all are different each having there on talent some more than others And different interest as well I have always offered help to anyone that is willing to learn and I think if all webmasters would keep this in mind the web will be a lot better place |

I think thats a little subjective.
It may depend on what each individual percieves as 'how the site is run'.
If for example a webmaster is asking you to pay for support and then doesn't provide any support then I think any criticism aimed at that would be quite valid.
Likewise if an author created a script which claimed to be compatible with specific versions of phpNuke which you had to pay for and then find out it didn't work and the author couldn't be bothered to help fix any issues, I think that would be quite valid.
Did you have something specific in mind? |

Not talking about support or scripts or phpNuke just web sites in general let's say your website features security information And of course there's hundreds of more that does the exact same thing but the other webmaster dozen like your site layout or information that you supply should you be criticized for that ? I do agree on the support issue but to criticize someone for news articles is a bit farfetched in my opinion let's face it there thousands of web sites out there all different in their own way its hard enough to build traffic as it is so I guess what I'm saying before we judge consider the work that has been put into each individual website hope this makes sense |

I would agree.
If an individual dislikes a specific site, they are under no obligation to go there. |

Money, Money is the answer for many questions. Life is hard. I wouldn´t criticize other sites who does the same like I do. But sometimes I make an exception to this because of spam entries in my forum.
Ever had such entries "Your site is nice, but mine is much better."Of course with a link to the "better" website. Normally I should delete such entries immediately but I found a better solution. I check the website and answer in my own way and the never come back because they are disgraced. |

Money is a plus when running a web site but as we all know that is usually few and far betweenin - my major goal is helping people whether it be through news articles downloads are personal contact via e-mail or whatever I have several individuals who sponsored my site so they can have a way to keep up with the latest things going on around the Internet , I have to retire Microsoft. support technicians that help me with some of the technical questions that people may ask this is all a hobby for me so money is secondary when it comes to my website don't get me wrong -extra income would be nice , but my main goal helping others |

well maybe we are the helping kind ,but were also an abused breed.
How often does it happen that we dont get a thank you?
Or someone that forgets to pay for the support he asked for?
And im sure if i think up loud i can come up with a few more samples... |

I understand your called the god admin good deeds usually go un payed in life but consider this the more you do to help others in life better chance of being paid back in the end in another words you never get out of life which put in it but with the more you put in chances are the yield will be higher in the end |
