They bought managed.com, it was not the best provider for dedicated server but for the last 2 years every thing has going ok.
Untill April, when webhostplus (also knownd as webhostMINUS) bought managed.com and turned about 300 servers off line. supposly for a migrattion plan.
We are now in the 3rd week of down time, just take a look at to have an ideia how big is the damage in a lot of companys.
Who will be next ?
best regards

uuughhhh... I just can't see how they can continue to stay in business and continue to do this to people. Everyone should live in fear of having their provider bought out by these guys. |

these are the same morons who nearly destroyed hundreds of thousands of hosts with they bought Dinix last year and it went on for months. They did the same "migration" fiasco then as well. If you have a backup of your servers sites i would simply get a new datacenter. Anyone who stays under webhostplus is a fool.
WebHostPlus is a nightmare! |

Earlier this year, WHP bought netbunch (previously Mesopia, previously dr2.net - my original nuke host). Same sad result... Some of the long-time customers started a survivors forum and posted a few links in the old support forums - then, magically, the support forums disappeared. Now you have to call, but of course there is NEVER anyone to answer.
When will people learn? RavenWebHosting rocks!
