Unable to view individual news items *fixed it*

Hey Raven,

I Hope u have the time to read this and possibly check it out. When I try to access modules.php ? name=News & file=article & sid=7 for example via the Topics module or any other means of viewing one news item only, the web just sits and waits.. I have tried default modules . php and the article.php in the news/ directory but they made no difference. You can view them through avantgo individually no problem, but that is using name = avantgo which seems to work.. made me think it was the index . php in the modules / news but no.. Sad

I've edited heaps of files heaps of times and am unsure what mechanisms occur when this request takes place apart from those two files exactly. I am hoping you understand the problem and the solution better than I do; I have seen some of your posts and you appear to have reasonably intricate understanding of what is going on so I hope you can help me..

P.S I can see a permanent link to "Logout" on your page when im not logged in. U can click it and it says "you are logged out" but "Logout" is still showing even on that screen hehe. Also in the newuser procedure when u enter a password that is too short it says # characters instead of however many the minimum is Wink

** I have actually fixed my problem by copying the whole news/ directory from original 77patched zip. I will find the problem file no probs. Sorry to have bothered u m8 Smile
