Webmaster are being told that they need to tweak their web sites to conform to Google's requirements (and we can only guess what those might be). Google wants to put the burden and the blame on the webmasters. But, since none of the other search engines has a problem finding our web sites, ... it is clearly not our problem. Only Google has problems finding web sites. So, it is Google's problem. It is simply not finding many perfectly legitimate web sites, ... or it is ranking them so low that they might as well be invisible. There's no sign that Google is trying to change that situation for the better.

Re: Google the worst search engine (Score: 1) | ![]() | Since getting a top rank in Google searches seems to be a priority with most webmasters, I would say having your pages meet the Google criteria for indexing would be just plain smart. If a website already shows up in the top of the other search engines, will it blow the ranking in those engines to make the site Google friendly? I didn't see that question asked. |

Even i keep a close eye on the results it gives and they are far from honest. Many ask themselfs...why does anyone need backlink(s) to get a high rank? Isnt it the same as influencing the end result? I checked several sites, from the netherlands...and one of them is big, advertises on tv...has a lot of content...more backlinks....and still they have same rank as me,just like many other sites.. yeah the billiondollar google story was fun in the beginning... have a look at http://www.live.com/ |
