genoxide writes: After weeks of work we finally have a new RC of the first version of ProjectXERO.
In this RC we have fixed _several_ bugs report by our development team and several of users, and it's ready at last to be used on public sites and not in testing sites.
Also have added a new function for better checking of data submited by $_GET and $_POST
methods, that will make XSS code injections and several other methods of attacks not work with ProjectXERO.
As always we are open to user feedback and suggestions since ProjectXERO is been build by users for users.
We are making this as an open invitation to all of the users to come and help us to give back to the community a more stable, secure, fast and user friendly CMS.
So what are you waiting? Come, download RC2 and give us some feedback on our website at ProjectXERO.org.

It dropped nearly 8 inches of rain on my house, cutting off power from approx. 8PM Eastern Time (USA) on 16 Sept. until 5AM Eastern Time (USA) on 17 Sept. The service is back up and running as of this writing (7:53AM Eastern Time USA).

No, not because of his sheep herding talents :) - So today I decided to purchase my monthy LINUX magazine ( http://www.linux-magazine.com ) and to my utter amazement, I see an article on phpNuke! So, I turn to the article and in a couple of places I see references to http://nukeresources.com and http://nukefixes.com . Well, for the new and unlearned, these 2 sites belong to our one and only Chatserv!!! Although not mentioned by name, WE know who he is! Chat, I would imagine your site might get some extra traffic out of it. Although I haven't read the entire review, it seems pretty accurate so far. Linux Magazine Web Site and here is a link to a PDF copy of the article PHPNuke - How to build and configure a web portal. Congratulations Chatserv! And to think ... I knew you when you were just a guy that gets no respect
Admin note: Having completed reading the article, I see that the author has several mistakes, but be that as it may, I see that the next issue and in coming issues, he continues his review with setting things up, security, etc. This will be interesting to follow. Hopefully the various security programs will be discussed.

dmolavi writes: You may have noticed that NukedGallery.net has been offline since early yesterday morning (approx. 3AM Eastern Time on 7 Sept 2004). This was a result of the aftermath of Hurricane Frances pummelling my home in Atlanta, GA. About a dozen trees came down in my neighborhood, taking down power lines with them. Service is now restored (as of 5:30AM Eastern Time on 8 Sept 2004) and the server is back up and running.
