Hi everyone,

phpBB Group announces the release of phpBB 2.0.21, the "Bertie's Summer Vacation" edition. This release is a cumulative bug fix update, as well as including a number of minor security fixes. We have altered the visual confirmation system used on servers without zlib enabled to bring it up to the same level as that used elsewhere and made a few small performance improvements.

As with all new releases we urge you to update as soon as possible. You can of course find this download available on our PHPBB downloads page. As per usual four packages are available to simplify your update.

Contains entire phpBB2 source and English language package

Changed Files Only
Contains only those files changed from previous versions of phpBB.
Please note this archive contains changed files for each previous release

Patch Files
Contains patch compatible patches from the previous versions of phpBB.

ToolBox writes:
Needless to say, we have appreciable works of BB2Nuke by Evaders99 and Chatserv. BB2Nuke for plain php-nuke is the milestone and the basis to allow all php-nuke based forums. The forums powered by BB2Nuke is one of dedicatedly expanding module: more than 5000 MODs for phpBB2 & BB2Nukes.

Unfortunately, as a new BB2Nuke and phpBB2 nuke versions appear, such highly elaborated BB2Nuke forums and phpBB2 forums exerts abnormal forces to site managers. For this reason, most high-MODed BB2Nuke sites are upgraded at tremendiously slow speed. To help such highly MODed bb2nuke forums, as NukeKorea Dev. Team has made a manual upgrader since BB2Nuke 2.0.17. In the same vein, even though the current manual upgrader was detarded, NukeKorea Dev. Network released Manual Upgrader of BB2Nuke 2.0.20 in public.
