Re: NukeAmazon v 2.8a - one of the most use Amazon module for PHPNuke (Score: 1) |  | Well, not sure who posted this, but v2.8a, as of May 22, 2005 9:50 PM EST, or GM-5 time, this module was NOT available, and neither was any version of 2.8. The last available version on the page is 2.7.2 which was uploaded back in September of 2004. Either the links are messed up, or the update is not available, or the module creator chooses to overwrite the old 2.7.2 file, but without knowing, it makes it hard to know exactly what is going on. There is also NOTHING within the member threads pointing to this new release, nor anything about a correct download link. Is this real, or is it just a bogus post to get more traffic through the module author's site? |

NukeEvangelist is a most trusted and respected 'Reporter". He would not do anything like that. I just visited the site and while it does look as if the download is not there, if you select NukeAmazon [preciogasolina.com] from the Modules list, and then click on the Amazon hyperlink in the lower right hand corner, you will indeed see the 2.8a version number. |

I understand that it IS being used Raven, but the post included links for downloading, which it does not appear available yet as a download. I am more trying to find out where the actual download link is, as I do use the module as a potential customer install, and like to keep up with the latest release. Of course, when I install the module for a customer, the customer also makes donations to the module developer. Of yet, I haven't had the opportunity to install the module yet for any of my customers, but it's still on the "available module" list. I'm just trying to keep up to date on the newest module release versions so that I can play with them on local installs and work out the bugs for potential customer installs. |
