Two test sites have been opened for you to tour NSN Sentinel™. Test Site 1 doesn't make use of the HTTPAuth where Test Site 2 does. Leave your thoughts on how it is progressing as comments to this article.
Re: Sentinel™ 2.0.0 Test Sites (Score: 1) | ![]() | Didn't have to put a password in on Test Site 1, but did on Test Site 2.... I really like the amount of configuration options we would have at our fingertips, and I like the integration of the "site closure" feature. Will anyone who can log in as admin still be able to get into the site via admin.php? |

Test Site 1 uses PHP as a CGI module. You cannot access HTTP Auth settings from PHP when run as CGI. You have to be running PHP as an Apache module, so in v2.0, the admin auth option will show Not Available. And yes on the admin question with the exception as stated above. |
Re: Sentinel™ 2.0.0 Test Sites (Score: 1) | ![]() | AWESOME!!!! It has everything! There were a few things in the current release that I felt were missing since I was accustomed to Protector. But this version has it ALL! I can't wait for the release .... I'll be removing Protector then and using Sentinel exclusively. Great Job! Thanks for your hard work. |
