Two hints:
$prefix.`_nsnst_countries` should be `$prefix._nsnst_countries`

and:
$prefix.`_nsnst_ip2country` should be `$prefix._nsnst_ip2country`

I'll have to try the firebug extension and see what it saying. Not a js expert so it may be something I need help with once I see what it is though.

Try reuploading the files again and make sure that all of the .php files are uploaded in ascii mode. It sounds like a file isn't fully uploaded or uploaded in the wrong mode.
