yes, that's how it usually works ....

and dependent on the content of the variable (xxx1, xxx2, xxx3 and so on) i need to call the defined constants from the different langauge.php files ...

crazy ... the story continues: in Safari (Apple's own webbrowser), it's there where i get the "Leave this site now!", and there where i did switch the AdminAuth on.

NO ... i am not using both. I commented out the corresponding lines in the mainfile.php, while testing this. I did receive help on another site.There i was told to make changes in one line.

Things are proceeding slowly here. I started to turn off that "performance cache" on that virtual host and suddenly some things start to work. I had a friend try this Union attack again and it worked ...

My problem with phpnuke7.6 and Sentinel_760_2.1.3 is still unresolved.

Things start to get weird whenever any of my friends does test my site with an attack like

the good thing is that the .htaccess changes are taking effect.
i had my buddy test with this above name Union-attack again, and it did put an ip-number into the .htacces ...

but it does not.

tested it by my own on my network, and it blocked all my different computers on from my own site on that same public IP. allthough all those computers do have different private ip- ...

yes, i understand that there is no need to use both methods.

if i understood you correctly, i don't need the .staccess file if i use HTTPAuth ?
