ok well hmm i mean it resores the back up fine. but what all would i be missing and can i port it out of what i am using now the a full without restoring the database

well yea i think that answers it. i lost my db and my fourm. the db is from just plan old nuke php 8 so i am not sure.

ok log store but my whole forum got deleted and i am trying to rebuild it. do when i do use the backup database i have? do i install the site with the nuke.sql than get site up or do i reload the da ...
