i know the ! is used in != for not equal, what does it do here? : && !$signature[$poster_id]

is there a way to mod/patch the viewtopic file so it only shows each person's sig on one post, instead of lagging up the page and increasing load time (most of our sigs are flash)

or if there isnt ...
