Our web hosting provider recovered our nuke site and db and after doing so now when we login to Admin it comes up with the top 4 blocks (none of them clickable) and it just says Access Denied! ...

Cheers for that by process of elemination I copied those files from another theme as I sat and went through each tpl file to see what were missing and now it works many thanks for all your help.

I tried copying one but not sure if I had put it in the correct place still ended up with the same error. The Theme works fine on earlier RN but not this latest one.

I have been using Raven nuke on a couple of site and hacked around with the MSTrenches Theme now when I have installed the latest RN when I try to post anything this is all I get:

Hi I apologise for prob being stupid, but I thought once you posted a new News article on a specific topic you could edit it??? I click on News in admin and all it shows is how to add a topic/news no ...

The twats are now refusing to refund me the £80 i paid as they say I have used the service.

So why would a hosting company disable there servers from using .htaccess files?

Would appear so, I just open the file commented out all the lines saved it and got a 500 error. But if I delete the file totally I get to access the other files normally.

Just removed the .htaccess altogether and i can access stuff but if i comment out all the lines and put it back in I get the 500 error again.

They are useless wish i had never gone with them they only ever reply a ticket so you have to wait ages, they say for security and performance reasons they can't change their settings.

But isn't .htaccess needed for nuke sentinel to work properly?

I have installed 2 nuke sites using RN b4 and these went fine, I switched hosting company and now I can't get to the db installation all I see is a 500 Internal server error and the error log says .ht ...

Well thank god it seems to be blocking em each time but is a tad worrying to think its getting attacked on a regular basis.

Where is it likely they are inputting these scripts, that is to say I had one hacker from Turkey once chat to me and tell me how he had hacked my site by typing some script into the search topic input ...

So where exactly are they inputting these scripts????

Get a few of these on site and wondered what they were trying to do to the site???
