Currently in a production environment utilizing the phpnuke 8.0 with phpBB 2.0.20.

Now in test environment have a clean install of RN 2.4.0 and need to convert the production database for the forum ...

Could you please advise where to adjust the database table to allow for a Username/Nickname to allow greater than 10 characters

1) now uninstalling XAMPP
2) installed Wamp Server
a. activated "rewrite_module" - Apache
b. using PHP 5.2.9
c. activated PHP "magic quotes gpc" ...

Ok made the suggested revision and returned the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '^' in C:\xampp\htdocs\dspx360\rnconfig.php on line 83

Well I am under a daily SPAM attack from Russia/Latvia/Ukraine/etc; with everything from viagra to porn.

The PITA is taking each "Registered User" Forum posting and entering the (dozens daily) IP ...
