I found out what was causing the problem
the ebay link with eBayISAPI.dll was causing the mayhem.
i am not sure why so it could be the window ...

update :
disabling html is not working, the certain links to the posts in the forum are getting redirected to this annoying mybookface.net website

does it mean all links posted on the forum will go inactive ?
will disabling html stop the forced redirecting problem

most of what you need to edit is in
themes/CT_RN/style/style.css

It's likely increasing some of those widths will require other edits, and it can have a snowball effect. Doubt anyone has the time ...
