I am using the latest version of Raven Nuke, and want to know, if I want to could I upgrade to PHP-Nuke 7.8; also if yes, what are the pros and cons? |

Why would you want to? The main con would be security! I don't think there would be any pros! |

What are you looking to do? I'm sure if there is one for 7.8, there is one for 7.6(RavenNuke). |

I believe you can do this in the approve membership module, but do you want to?
It will make it easy for bots to register on your site. |

Sorry just been double checking you can do it and you can.
You can find it here, it's very well supported: http://www.ulsoft.scarbridge.co.uk/
The main function of the module is to allow the Admin to approve members, but it can also do the opposite and allow automatic activation. It does more like allowing you to add additional fields on registration as well, but you don't have to use the extra features.
I think CNB YA will allow you to Auto register as well.
I would still be worried about bots registering and then spamming your site. |
