I know ive seen a topic on this issue somewhere before, but now 10,000 lost hairs later im still unable to find it, maybe someone can help out or find that topic.
Suddenly after everything working fine for about 3 weeks now if I try to go to admin.php it automatically redirects to index.php
Im running nuke platinum 7.6b4, got sentinal setup and protector. Im thinking since my ip has changed that maybe its protector that is doing the redirect? Any idea's how to change or add a new protected ip since I can't seem to access my own admin anymore?
Thanks |

Sounds like either protector or NukeSentinel is redirecting you to the admin page. Not sure what to tell you if it's protector. You can add your new IP to the NukeSentinel protected IP table via phpMyAdmin. |

Would just dumping and replacing the tables for sentinal and protector work? |

Probably not, at least in the case of NukeSentinel, since it needs to know which IP address should be protected.
Anyone familiar enough with Protector that can help here? |

Sorry to butt in kguske.
I was just wondering why wimpyskins is using Protector and NukeSentinel together? |

No problem... any help is appreciated! Yes, they are both included in NukePlatinum. |

Is that really necessary?
I've never entertained the thought of using Platinum, but it seems to be packed full of stuff you will probably never use. |

IT is protector. I have fixed this for others. You have inadvertantly set it to hard protect your admin page. What you need to do is this. Go to admin.php in your ftp. comment out the includes blocker.php line. put // in front of the line. Then go into your protector and change that setting. It is doing it to you becuase your ip is not safelisted. It is a function that should be removed from protector. Once you make the change, simply take the // comments out of admin.php. |

in addition, I have just rechecked and in protector, after you disable it the way that I instructed, you need to go to
settings, then Hard protect
:: Protect Admin Yes: No:
tick the no and save. You should be good then.
Hard Protection
If you set Auto Protect IP to hard all IP's that are in your name will be removed. Only the IP you are on RIGHT NOW will be protected! |

Got it, and that did the trick. Many thousand thank you's. Maybe ill keep it running a little longer and see how it playes out. I didnt know that part about it only protecting the current used IP.
Thanks

it is a fine system to run. I would just check mark that to no and be on your way. That will be best for you. Otherwise, anytime that you have a new ip... redirection will happen. |
