7.6 .. newbie question about patches...

Hello, I running 7.6 and all is actually just fine for me at the moment, But I'm looking to add the Ecyclopedia Hack mod that requires the 3.1 patch..

Now, for the total newb Q: Ive searched around a bit, but cant seem to find these elusive patches.. Sad

are there such things as just the patch files, or do I have to download a full 7.6 patched 3.1 file?

Well, the patches are "deltas", meaning only the files that changed. You could try the latest 3.2 patches but be sure you back EVERYTHING up first. They can be a bit "buggy" for some folks, but for most, they work just fine.

Most likely "yes". You could also use a really good comparison tool, such as Beyond Compare, to help you actually merge your hacked code into any new patch script code.
