someone asked me to look into something weird and was suprised as well...
how can this url address be correct if you wanna delete an unused avatar?

http://www.website.com/modules/Forums/admin/modules.php?name=Forums&file=&mode=delete&target=justsomeavatar.jpg

nobody probably noticed cause when do you delete unused avatars?
I tried it on my site and shows exactly the same...
(used forums....newest)

Bingo. There is something wrong with the admin_avatar-php. I´ve got a 404 page in version 2.20 after I deleted one user avatar.
The funny thing I repaired this function some weeks ago in version 2.0.17

HW have you already tried the 2.0.19 file ?

That s what I use in version 2.0.17. Try it !

modules/Forums/admin/admin_avatar.php
Code:

$delete_html = append_sid("$PHP_SELF?mode=delete&target=$file");

replaced with:
Code:

$delete_html = append_sid("./admin_avatar.php?mode=delete&target=$file");

edit: I just tried this with version 2.0.20 in RavenNuke solved my avatar error.

Can you confirm that this also works in version 2.0.21 Hitwalker ?

I add this into the bug tracker.

hell no ....im a bit teasing here but this error shouldnt even be in the newest bbtonuke as susann had the fix it long ago from coldcut.
these things should be said ..its easy to loose faith in releases...
as far as i can remember this is actualy the first time i do notice some major failures in a bbtonuke release...

I did write a nice lengthy post about everyone wanting the latest stuff yesterday - provided they didn't have to spend any time actually helping or contributing some small amount of time to 'the effort' by testing but decided against it. Smile

Meaning, I wrote a lengthy post then found I had gone completely off-topic and the post really belonged in the 'Rants' forum. Wink
