You set the permissions either through your ftp client or your host's cPanel or Plesk or whatever they offer. I recommend WsFTP for a very reliable FTP client. |

What does this mean?
Back in PuTTY, at the UNIX prompt, we need to configure phpMyAdmin to recognize the server settings. To do so, change to the phpMyAdmin directory and edit the config.inc.php file with vi or joe.
How do I change the phpMyAdmin directory and what is vi and joe? |

Ok let me rephrase, what is the distribution kit?
Cause you just gave me a link to instructions I already have.
On the Quick Install instructions, it states (on mine):
"1. Choose and download a distribution kit with the files having the extension (.php3 or .php) depending on the way your web/PHP server interprets those extensions."
So I ask do I already have it or where do I get it. I didn't see anything that stated "distribution kit download here" on that page you posted chat so I dunno. |

Do I have to edit the php files to create a site or does MyAdmin do that? |

Ok, here's the basic idea, you download phpMyAdmin from http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/ then you follow the instructions provided on the other link i posted to install it. The last time i installed it the only file that had to be edited was config.inc.php
Make sure you download the latest stable version. |

Make sure that all your theme files got transfered. Also, make sure that you config.php file is in the same directory as mainfile.php. Then, make sure that there is a nuke_config table in your nuke database. |

Ok I'm curious, how do I make one page of a site in PHP Nuke and another page for a blog.
The reason I ask is I wanna make two sections of my site. http://www.mysite.com/sec1 which will be of PHP Nuke and http://www.mysite.com/sec2 which would basically be a blog |
