How to avoid showing function message_box when News in home?

phpNuke 7.6, chatserv patched 3.1 and nsn-news 200rc2_70-79

News module are set to be home module. 10 articles are showing up just fine with the text i've set to be the welcome-to-my-site message on top with a google ad block center block. However, the message is showing up in nearly all the pages where news/topics/stories-archive are involved.

How do i tweak the function message box() to only show at the ../index.php page and not ../index.php?op=NETopicMain ../index.php?op=NEArchive ..index.php?op=NEArticle&sid=xx etc etc

Maybe this will give a better view of what the problem is. It appears all (well, most of them that is) news-related files are considered to be HOME_FILEs and the apperance is defined in header.php

A bit different from the original patched files since i use centerblocks add-on, but in any case, this might be the place to define where i want the message_box to show (or not to show). If index.php, then show, else not?

It seems you are also using NSN Center Blocks. One of the center block settings causes it to display on every page. Another causes it only to appear on the main page.

But your messages should only be displayed on the home page.

That would be correct, yes... One center block showing with a marquee on every page, and one center google-ad showing below the message_box. Above the message_box a regular center block. Problem seems to be that they all show up in every article, archive page etc...
