Looking for a Savior

I need someone that is very skilled in Raven/PHPnuke. I have a phpnuke 7.9 site up right now. I REALLY want to switch to RavenNuke since I have had phpnuke hacked on me before and it REALLY messed my site up. I love the security of Raven, as I have built other sites with it before. The problem is that I want to switch to Raven, but I am too scared to do it. I am not skilled enough to perform such a feat.

I have a lot of content on the site and do not want to lose anything at all. I fear that if I try to do it myself, I will mess it up really bad. Is there anyone out there willing to help?? If so, I can pay you with webspace, and lots of it. I can also host your site for free and you will have unlimited b/w for helping out. I am NOT advertising hosting at all, just offering payment for the services I receive.

Oxfire, this usually works for me when trying to change things. You can make a test site that is a copy of your original including a copy of your DB. Of course it is actually a different DB but has the details of your original site DB copied into it. Then you can experiment on your test site the things that people have posted that have done the downgrade already to see how it works for you. Then if you run into problems with the test site downgrade and searching doesn't provide the answers you need, I have always found that people here have been quick in helping me get it right if possible. That is how I have learned (and continue to learn.... Smile

) about Nuke and DB's ...just a suggestion....it won't be as fast as someone doing it for you, but then I really don't think I learn nearly as much having someone do it for me.... Smile
