I have been trying to locate somewhere or someone that can help me rename the admin.php file to help make my site less vulnerable. Any help would be appreciated.

in config.php file :

$admin_file: Administration panel filename. "admin" by default for "admin.php".
To improve security please rename the file "admin.php" and change the $admin_file value to the new filename (without the extension .php)

$admin_file = "admin";

I will warn you, however, that not all features will work properly with doing this, even with RavenNuke76 2.02.02. We have fixed ALL of these issues in the upcoming 2.10.00 release... We're currently targetting an October 1 release.

I will hold on that issue then. Thank you for the response.

You should also be aware that some older scripts/modules/hacks etc will still be using a hard coded admin.php link instead of the current preferred $admin_file variable.
Unless you want to spend time checking every block/module etc that you add to your site in the future and replacing those, I would leave the admin file named as it is by default.
