javascript code help

Hi guys,

I have a javascript ad code to add to my site.

I have a left column -- stories -- right column

My $showbanner is above the stories.

I would like add the javascript code above the $showbanner.

The one problem is this code must be inserted between the site head tags to work.

How would I go about doing this?

Any help would be greatly received

ok there are a few ways to do this...
but easiest way for you is to put it into your custom header.

here > > includes/custom_files/custom_head.php

the custom_head.php starts with <? and ends with ?>
after that you put the java part.

I do not actually have a file called: custom_head.php

All thats located in that folder is an index sheet.

I have created a file :

?>

javascript code is here

And uploaded it to the server.

The website loads but says "done with errors" and I have a gap at the top of my website.

Now if I paste this into head tags on a standard .html document it works!

Sorry this is so complex I would paste the entire script but I found javascript wasn't allowed.

In my mind it's like phpnuke is clashing with the code. also I would need to echo it into the correct place above stories? Not sure how to do this though if you guys did get it to work.
