mainfile on 7.6 patched 3.3

I'm having a problem with html code in blocks not showing up. I singled it down to the mainfile.php. When I load the patched 3.2b mainfile everything works fine, with 3.3 I have blank boxes. Were there any major changes on these versions?

The latest Patched files add some HTML checks that may not be in previous versions

There is nothing saying no HTML, but rather there is an HTML check such as

check_html($row['content'], "")

Make sure that the HTML tags you want to use are allowed in config.php
