NSN Groups In RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 Distro

I keep reading that RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 Distro has NSN Groups included.

Please can someone explain what NSN Groups is, but more importantly where I can find it in my installation of RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 Distro and how I administer it.

I see nothing on the admin panel that is different to a website I have running with the 'standard' 7.6 php nuke system.

NSN groups is found on your admin menu under edit groups (and also users groups points).

It allows you to place your users in groups. Then when you are administering modules or blocks you can have modules or blocks that only certain groups can see. You can also program basically anything in the system to be accessible to only certain groups.

If you don't see edit groups then there is something wrong with your setup in RN and you should post again here.

Its different believe me. Click in the administration on "Edit Groups" there you ´ll find the Groups configuration where you can view groups, add user, email groups or send expiring notice etc.
If you use the search function in this forum here you ´ll find the answer what NSN groups is, because I asked this long time ago. Smile

I must say a BIG 'thank you' to both fkelly and Susann.

I think I understand this facility now and do indeed now see the extra 'edit groups/points' icon in my RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 Distro admin panel.

I will search around the raven forum on this topic again...for susann's previous posts.

If I have further problems i will post back here.

Just one further point to question at this time...

Is there somehwere I can find instructions/the definition for all the various settings I can change within NSN Groups admin, (such as Moderator for phpBB group:, Public:, Limit:, Send Expiring Notice, etc)?

No official document, I don't think. You could search the forums here - I've posted some additional explanations at least once I think.
