Greetings All,
I have been on an SEO kick here as of late and it is paying off real well. I have been looking at SEO software packages and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

WebCEO is one I have looked at
http://www.websiteceo.com/

It is a little on the pricey side....

Seo Administrator
http://www.seoadministrator.com/seo-software.html

and the price is about right....

has anyone used any of these or ay other packages for that matter?

Love'em ....... Hate'em?

Dawg

I used WebCEO (also http://webceo.com) until I realized I could do pretty much the same things for free and integrated them into nukeSEO, using the same method that WebCEO promotes. The method is useful and generally yields good organic results. If you do SEO work for other sites, WebCEO has a decent reporting facility that lets you prepare reports for your clients, and you can use the free version for simple sites.

So kguske,

do you think the free version would be good for a personal site. I am running an affiliate site with adsense for my wife. It is still under construction.

Will this program help with ranking the site?

There are limitations with the free version (presumably of WebCEO) - like the number of comparison sites you can view, etc. But unless your personal site is trying to be all things to all people, it should be sufficient.

If your site is running on PHP-Nuke, you can use nukeSEO and do pretty much the same things without limitation. nukeSEO adds an HTML sitemap and a Google sitemap, too. Since many of the research tools are provided by other websites, you could use these tools on any site, whether or not it runs PHP-Nuke.
