Too Many Fields On New User Registration Page

Hey all.

I have a website that has been running on nuke version 7.6 with patch 3 and CNBYA.

The CNBYA admin has had the 'Require Admin Approval' option set to YES and set like this the user only had to complete a few feilds of information:

Nickname:
Real Name:
Email Address:
Password:

However, when I switch the 'Require Admin Approval' option in the CNBYA admin to NO, many more fields are required by a user when they register.

I would much prefer that when the 'Require Admin Approval' option is set to NO, that the number of feilds requiring completion when a user registers, is not 'explanded' and only the minimumn information is required.

I do also note with a fresh installation I have just made on another site, (which does not have CNBYA), that when the admin panel is set so that new registration doesn't require admin aproval, the user doesnt have the vast number of fields showing that do so with the website that is running with the CNBYA.

Anyone know what is going on or how I can deal with this?

ok, If you dont have those expanded options, then youll more then likely get spammed like crazy. Thats why those expanded options are there, but if youd like minimal options to fill and would like to not worry about spammers, Id sudjest the original your_account module installed, although that really wont stop spammers, it will slow them down considering they can not access too much.
