I get the following error when I click on "my_account"

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Anyone have any ideas? I just went from 7.8 to the newest Raven distro. Still configuring site.

thanks for any help

I realize that this is a change in problems but because of it, I can't give you the url right now.

New problem: Can't log in as admin on either of 2 accounts. However, when I click "admin menu" I takes me straight to the admin menu.

any ideas on this one? I tried changing the password on one account and it still says that the login is incorrect. Sad

Probably sounds crazy.... but it's happening

Sorry... don't mean to be vague. Here is the problem I need to get fixed....
I can't log into any of my admin accounts. When I try a page comes up and says incorrect login.

I tried to reset my password on one account by having the system email me a confirmation code and then a new password. Got the same error as above when I tried to use the new login and password.

Is there another way to reset the admin username/password other than going through the "I forgot my password" thing?

I hope that this message is clearer... thanks for any help

Yes through phpmyadmin but this will not help you in the manner you are seeking, Hitwalker is asking you for a VITAL piece of information in order to help you.

We need to get access to your site one way or another but we will attempt a resolution without it if it is not possible for us to gain the access needed.

Now we need to know the version of nuke you are using, the type of platform you are using, Mysql version is helpfull but not really necessary, php version, what characters you are using for passwords. and anything else anyone thinks would be helpfull.

Now you have some information to grab and we will be able to make a more educated response afterwards. I know this seems like a lot, But we need it in order to help you.

Hello darklord, did not expect a response so fast. Sorry if I have been "dense" about the earlier posts but I now have everything under control.

Since my site is so new, I thought... what the heck and I just do a new install of the system. Now I have no problem logging into the system as admin and my problem there is solved.

Also, once I did the re-install, I no longer have the problem with the "your_account" browser issue.

thanks to both of you for your time and patience. I will try to include more information in my cries for help in the future. Smile
