Can some one walk me throgh installing php nuke port Vwar on my site. I know u got to cpanl, and click file manger but thats about it.

I read the vwar guide but it lost me no clue what is what in it.
Really could use the help on this one guys.

How about don't install it.

I know you are probably running a clan site etc, but vwar has known security vunerabilities and you would be opening yourself up to being hacked.

I don't know if these holes have been fixed.

OK is there any other program like Vwar out there that would be better to use thats some what like Vwar?

Good question, unfortunately I don't know the answer to that.

It could be that all the bugs have been fixed, I note that there latest release is R15, which reportedly fixes the 'mysql injection bug in extra/ files'. Which I assume fixes the problem currently shown as unpatched on Secunia.

Have you asked on the vwar forums about help installing?

Ya but all those guys say is read the guide... I have posted 2 times in there, and told them i dont understand the guide, lol but they keep saying read it. Im starting to think there nothen more the bots now..

I believe there is a version of Vwar that is a standalone, that does not install in your php-nuke database. That at least should keep your nuke site safer.
