Admin can't login

I can login with the god account and the second admin's account, but she can't login with either. She's not blocked, I checked, but I cannot figure this out.

Great, I just went to the edit admins page and got banned.

"You have attempted an Authors Table attack on this site."

WTF is going on?

Only the god account can edit admins. If you were logged in as the second admin's account, you would probably get blocked trying to edit admins.

What error does the second admin get?

Well, I now can't check my PMs to find out, because I'm blocked. How do I get back in on the god account?

I understand the frustration. If you are blocked by .htaccess, rename the htaccess file or remove your IP address from there. Next, remove your IP address from the NukeSentinel blocked IPs table using phpMyAdmin. You should then be able to log back in as an admin. Make sure you go to NukeSentinel and protect / update your admins.

I've done that. I am trying to get the second admin in on the god admin account. The site actually belongs to her anyway. She'll let me know what errors she gets.

Make sure you add her IP to Sentinels Protected Range first!

Obviously, I've made sure she's using the correct UN/PW. This happens whatever computer she tries in on.

Will try to get her IP and make sure it's protected.

You can find instructions for resetting the admin password by searching the forums here. But you might also want to check the NukeSentinel configuration table to make sure that admin authentication is off (set to 0) until after you verify access to the admin page, verify your admin users are setup in NukeSentinel and protect your IP.

Thanks again kguske, but you lost me there. Not too sure of PHPMyAdmin/MySQL. I'm pretty n00by at all this stuff.

That's it! Very Happy

I reset the passwords and made sure the admin accounts and IP ranges were protected in NukeSentinel and that's it solved.
