mysql & phpbb post and email errors.

when users try to post there getting this error.

Could not connect to smtp host : 0 : Success
DEBUG MODE

File : smtp.php

also getting this when trying to send mail through the forum.

Failed sending mail :: PHP ::

Im so tired of dealing with nuke. its a complete POS.
im thinking there has to be another CMS that is better then Nuke.
it seems all i do is have problems and try to find fixes for them.

How is your Forum configuration set up? Do you really need to use smtp with the forums?

i dont know if i need to use smtp or not, i went from using vdeck with my old host to useing an old version of Cpanel, so im not so familiar with things yet.
I dont have my bbtonuke setup to use smtp in the forums/admin.index.php.
I tried it when users started getting these errors but i had no effect so i stopped using it. LOL im going to take a very hot bath and drink a very large glass of red whine. maybe that will fix things, atleast for a short while.
then i'll regroup and mess do some testing. Wink

Stop using SMTP is the build in mail() works fine. That is, the Your_Account and other Nuke emails are working
