Forums Not Showing my GUEST online in the Forum

also i got another issue that i noticed... and this is the last one i can see. is if i go to my FORUMS it does not list the GUESTS it always shows as 0... the hidden works as i seen it register a number...

In total there are 25 users online :: 25 Registered, 0 Hidden and 0 Guests

and if i goto to the FORUM ADMIN it shows all the GUEST MEMBERS there...

i installed the rn76_core_pl32.sql into my database then compared side by side with MYSQL FRONT because i had to imported database tables over as they were large...

i there was a couple of differences but i made the changes and they are identical... so i am lost on what to do... i actually went throug the entire DB and compared the Default .SQL tables to mine and made sure they were were exact.. there was a couple of difference... i guess part of updating and importing my data by all is the same now.. to the dot

I am testing this out right now. I think that I am seeing the same as you, but want to be sure.

Check your cookie settings in Forums. Go into Forum administration, configuration and look at the cookie domain. If it's set to mysite.com just blank it out. Alternatively you can try setting it to www.subfighter.com. No guarantees but it's worth a try.

Actually, I found that it works. The following statement at the very bottom of the phpBB footer was the "hint":

Quote:
This data is based on users active over the past five minutes


I have a feeling it is based on the sessions table in combination with cookies and the more active site you have the more accurate it will be.
