You guys have been very helpful in my quest for a smooth website thus far - My problem now (just realized it today) it that when your a visitor, the main page - which contains the news module in the middle is totally gone. All blocks around it show as they should but the news is not there.

Now the first step would be check the group permissions and the settings. Well heres how mine reads:

Title: News | Custom Title: News | Status: Running | Visible to: All Visitors | Group: None

I believe it used to show up until I uploaded the 3.2b patch and NukeSentinal. I disabled NS, and it still didnt come up, so it their something in the 3.2b security patch that stops the News Module from showing up, because the news needs to be visible to them. Im lost at this point.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advanced.

Add: I would also like to add that the news doesnt show up if your signed in as Admin and not signed in as a 'member,' It only shows up when you log-in to your regular account.

When you look at the modules list in the admin panel, what is showing as being "(In Home)"? If it is not the News module, then make the News module active in the Home. I have never used 7.8 (refuse to) so am not sure if any of this has been changed (probably not that much if at all).

I am seeing the same issue.

I just installed on test site and if you are not logged in you do not see the News modules, but you do see the copyright. But if you log in as a user you see the News modules just fine???

I am using RavenNuke 7.6 Version 2.02.

The news module is set to home.

Any suggestions ?

Is the preference in your admin section under modules for News set to all visitors, or just registered ones?

News Active (In Home) All Visitors

I just upgraded to NSN Version 2, but worked before. I see nothing in the NSM News settings for this?
