Greylisting how effective ?

Since a few days I have this option and I use it.
I believe thats a good method to reduce spam possible in combination with other filters.

What are your thoughts ? Is greylisting effective enough against spam ?

Have not heard of this, but will check it out myself. Thanks for posting this! I am sure Evaders and Guardian will have a few words to say about this!

I don't know, it would seem to slow down emails from being received for about an hour. And hopefully the mail server would resend the message again.

I wonder how it would really affect legitmate trafffic. Seems it would add even more of a burden on internet traffic, much like the "challenge" systems use currently.

It works and can reduce the spam flood more than 50 per cent some said more than 70 per cent. This method is used by many webmasters.
