Delete multiple users through phpmyadmin

This is probably something simple, but my knowledge of sql is limited. I have a list of about 25 users that I want to delete, and rather then doing them through the nuke interface, I'd rather just run a quick script to take them all out. Anyone know of a simple way to do this?

My advise ... don't do it. Use the interface. Those users may have "records" in a number of other tables besides the users table. Like if they did a post. There may be some kind of tested utility out there that replicates your_account in taking care of all the relationships but unless you can find that it's not safe. And heck, the user could be in a group ... so you delete the user record and it's left dangling in the group table. Just bit the bullet and use the interface.

Yeah you'll want to do it through the interface because it will clean up things like PM's, etc.

I looked at the code and found the function(s) that gets called when you delete a user. You could build a script that calls that for the users you want deleted if you had a lot of them.

i have like 25, but i'm not sure i'm up to scripting it, since i have to do it tonight...I may just use the interface and not worry about it...after all, It could always be worse. Smile
