Hey Ive had many problems in the past with avatars and them not working, I was wondering just how to simpily disable or turn them off, i really dont want or need them for my site, im getting tired of the old X thats there in place of it, Ive tried various fixes for in, including several on this site but nothing works, how can I just simply get rid of it?

Is your admin page in some alien language?

Enable gallery avatars
Enable remote avatars
Avatars linked to from another website
Enable avatar uploading

In the forum? That should disable for forum.
If not, you can open viewtopic_body.tpl and find
Code:{postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}
|
Remove that, then no avatar will show in topic view. |

In your FTP.
modules\Forums\templates\subSilver
Assuming you are using subsilver. Whatever theme you are using the same file will be there. |

Removing the line I said above will totally remove all avatar images in topic view. Whats the url to your board?
Just to recap, open viewtopic_body.tpl in a text editor remove this: {postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}
save and upload.
This will work, theres no doubt about it. I should said before but maybe the theme you are using for your nuke site is using a custom phpbb theme. In which case viewtopic_body.tpl might be located in:
themes\YOUR_THEME\forums
and not:
modules\Forums\templates\YOUR_THEME\ |
